The University of Saskatchewan’s historic Stone Barn has been added to the National Trust for Canada’s 2026 Endangered Places List. The National Trust says that the over-100-year-old barn is one of few buildings of its kind in the Prairies and that its concrete silos are believed to be the oldest in the province. 650 CKOM reports that the barn has been closed since 2010 due to structural concerns, but has been stabilized for the near-term through $500K in emergency work in 2025.
