Ambrose University has announced that it has received approval from the Association of Theological Schools to launch its first doctoral degree in Fall 2027: the Doctor of Ministry degree. The program will begin by offering a Chinese-language track in a fully online, synchronous model that enables students to learn while staying where they are. It takes three years to complete and includes a dissertation or ministry project based on each student’s ministry context. “This program is a direct response to needs [that Chinese church leaders] have helped us identify and an important step in serving the local and global church more effectively,” said Ambrose Vice Dean of Theology Rev Dr Stuart Williams.
